We’re excited to launch the first event of this year’s Europe Select Tournament series with the 2013-born age group, taking place April 24–27 in Budapest.
A total of 11 teams from 5 different countries will gather at the Mátyásföld Ice Rink, ready to compete in what promises to be an exciting tournament.
The teams have been divided into two groups:
Group A
- Hungary Talent (HUN)
- HTSO (SVK)
- Young Hockey (SVK)
- Festiwal Hokeja (PL)
- SHS (CZE)
Group B
- TFH (CZE)
- Hungary Talent W (HUN)
- Wild Knights (CZE)
- Elite Hockey (SVK)
- PLH (SVK)
- Tordön (SWE)
After the group stage, the top three teams from each group will advance, carrying over the results against the other advancing teams.
The top six teams will then compete in the final round (“upper group”) to determine the overall champion, while the remaining teams will play in the lower group for 7th to 11th place rankings.
The match schedule is attached, and all game results will be published and updated live on our official tournament website.
New this year, we’re offering Live Streaming for those parents and fans who can’t attend the event in person at the Budapest Mátyásföld Ice Rink.
You can watch all 40 games live for just €25, or choose to stream individual matches for €5 each.
And this is just the beginning – after the 2013 age group, more age categories will follow throughout the summer, making Budapest a hub for international youth hockey action!
