This spring, Budapest hosts the Europe Select Tournament over five consecutive weekends, offering international-level competition for five different age groups. In 2025, the tournament enters its fourth weekend from May 28 to June 1, featuring players born in 2014.
A highlight of the weekend is the participation of 12 teams from 7 different countries, showcasing the tournament’s growing strength and diversity each year. This event presents an outstanding opportunity for young players to develop their skills in an international environment, gain valuable experience, and demonstrate their talent.
The format remains consistent with previous years: teams are divided into three groups, and each team plays seven 2×20-minute games. The first 10 minutes of each period are running time, followed by 10 minutes of stop time. After the group stage, the top two teams from each group compete for positions 1–6, while the third- and fourth-placed teams play for positions 7–12.
