From May 1 to 4, Budapest will host a prestigious youth hockey tournament featuring teams from nine European countries.
In the 2012 age category, the tournament will feature three teams from the Czech Republic and two from Slovakia. Just like last year, these teams are among the top favorites to win the tournament. They will be joined by teams from Poland, Sweden, Romania, Germany, Ukraine, and Serbia, along with the host team, Hungary Talent.
In total, 12 teams from nine countries will compete in Budapest from May 2 to 5, 2024.
The teams are divided into three groups of four, with each team playing every other team in its group. The top two teams from each group will advance to the battle for places 1–6, while the remaining teams will play for places 7–12.
Each team will play a total of seven games, with matches consisting of two 20-minute halves. Each half will be counted as a separate result. The game format remains the same as last year – the first 10 minutes are running time, and the last 10 minutes are stop time.
Once again this year, all games will be streamed live for those who cannot attend the tournament in Budapest in person.
